MadWifi AR5007EG LED Enable?

Wireless LED indicator activity is relatively not important, but I like it. When I'm using Fedora 8, I would recompile my kernels just to make my wireless light's blinking. AR5007EG works both with ndiswrapper and madwifi, but the LED indicator's only blink with ndiswrapper.

Anyway, I didn't have any idea how to make this LED's work with madwifi until I found this references. All we have to do is passing sysctl parameter to enable LED indicator with madwifi. Well, they're admit it that it's not actualy always works. Here's the example from the references how to make LED indicator blink with madwifi:

# sysctl -w dev.wifi0.ledpin=1
# sysctl -w dev.wifi0.softled=1
Unfortunately, this configuration is not work with my Atheros AR5007EG MiniPCI wireless card. At least it's work with some other cards. But anyway, from this references, I tried to modified the value of dev.wifi0.ledpin with another value. I try to enter value between 0 to 9, and then, my LED's blink on value 3. So the value that works with my wireless card is this:

# sysctl -w dev.wifi0.ledpin=3
# sysctl -w dev.wifi0.softled=1
To make this configuration permanent, we have to modify /etc/sysctl.conf and add this line at the bottom of it:

dev.wifi0.ledpin=3
dev.wifi0.softled=1
Now my wireless LED's indicator is works everytime I activate my wireless. And finally, I don't need my Windows wireless drivers anymore.
